Customize Your "Inspiration Database" Page
This page is visible to your client and pops up throughout the system for you - so it’s part functional, part fun.
What Is the Inspiration Database?
Scattered throughout your Setup OS, you’ll find quote blocks that randomly pull from this database. Whether it’s a moment of inspo during a big setup day or a pop culture laugh when you're knee-deep in automations, these quotes are here to bring some joy to the process.
I’ve preloaded this database with quotes from some of my favorite people and fictional icons - but you’re welcome to swap them out with your own brand of brilliance. Motivational, sarcastic, sentimental - whatever tone fits your vibe.
How to Access the Page
On the left sidebar of your Setup OS Home Page, scroll to the System Configuration section. There, you’ll find a page titled "Inspiration Database" (shown below - though the page has been renamed since the screenshot) - click to open.
What to Update
1. Cover Image
Hover over the banner and click "Change Cover" to update the background with a brand-friendly image or one that makes you smile.
2. Page Icon
Click the icon in the top left corner. You can:
- Use an emoji
- Pick a Notion stock icon
- Upload your own graphic
3. Quote Content
Edit the existing quotes, delete the ones that don’t fit your tone, and add new ones that sound like you. You can also add columns or tags if you want to organize by theme (humor, inspiration, boss energy - go wild).
You’re absolutely welcome to keep or adjust the quotes already loaded - they’re there to help you get started.

Not Feeling the Quotes?
If you’d rather keep things clean and quote-free, that’s totally fine. You’re welcome to delete them - just follow the instructions below closely to make sure they’re fully removed across the system without breaking anything. (Yes, even Notion has its drama.)
You’ll also see directions here for deleting the Spotify playlist block. If you’re not ready to make that call yet, no worries - you’ll have another chance to review that later in the customization process.
