Test Dubsado Workflows

THE VISION

You are going to kick off each lead workflow as if you are a client inquiring. The pages in this guide tell you exactly how to start each individual workflow, and then from there the workflows will guide you.

Make sure you use your personal email for the client side because your business email will be getting all of your Dubsado communication as the business owner. You will then follow along each step- completing the steps that your workflows instruct (whether from the client side or the business owner side).

Spending quality time testing is going to be what takes you from confused to confident in your experience & operations.

MANAGING YOUR WORKFLOW TESTS

As you go through the back end of your testing, you'll want to have a good understanding of how these items work on Workflows tab of each project.

*NOTE: Any of the following actions taken while inside of a project will only affect the workflow in that particular project without changing your master template.

On each workflow step:

EDIT

Allows you to edit the action. This is the option to use when wanting to customize an email prior to sending, swap out a form or adjust the timing of the action.

Remove

Removes the action from the workflow.

Mark Completed

Marks the action as complete, but does not perform the action.

This works best if you have already completed an actually manually.

Force Now

Performs the action immediately regardless of position in the workflow.

This works best for testing or when clients need things immediately.

YOU WILL USE THIS ACTION FREQUENTLY DURING TESTING. Use this to expedite the workflow order so that you can make it through the workflow faster!

On the overall workflow

(at the bottom)

Add Action

Adds an additional action in the current workflow.

Archive

Removes the entire workflow from the project. This does NOT affect the Workflow Templates section.

Active / Paused

Active indicates the workflow is live, while paused indicates the workflow has been stopped manually or there is an error.

View Workflow

Takes you to the "Workflow Overview" page where you can see every project containing that particular workflow.
