Update Spotify Playlist
Because what’s a dreamy workflow setup without the perfect soundtrack?
By default, The Setup OS includes a built-in playlist (and yes, it’s Taylor Swift - because obviously). But your vibe might be more lo-fi beats, Broadway bangers, or Beyoncé deep cuts - and that’s totally up to you.
If you want to make it your own, just follow these instructions to swap in your favorite playlist. Whether it’s for your own focus time or something you share with clients to set the mood, the playlist is an easy way to infuse a little personality into your portal.
Updating the Spotify Playlist
Here's how you do it:
- Navigate to the Spotify Web Player.
- Search for the content you would like to embed and click on it. You can create an Embed for a podcast, an episode, a track, a playlist, an artist, or an album.
- Right click or long press on the title of the content. Select the Share option, and then the sub option COPY LINK.
- DO NOT COPY THE EMBED CODE - IT WILL NOT WORK!
Put the Link in Notion
You must update this in a way that the default will be updated for all clients moving forward. Follow the below for how to make this update.
Don’t want a playlist at all?
Totally fine. You’ll also find directions for deleting the Spotify block throughout the system - just follow them carefully to make sure it's removed from everywhere without breaking anything.
Remove the Playlist Header
Delete the "Get in the Zone" header above the playlist by clicking on the left where you see the six dot hamburger menu. Then click delete.
