Fill in Dubsado Portal Link

Even though your client will be working primarily inside The Setup OS, it’s still a good idea to give them access to the Dubsado Client Portal - especially if you’re following the recommended process, which includes sending forms via Dubsado.

Why?

Because while Notion handles the majority of the setup and strategy, Dubsado is still the home base for certain client-side actions - like filling out their onboarding questionnaire. Giving them portal access makes it easy for them to double-check that everything’s submitted, review past communications, or access their invoice and contract.

If you choose to add the portal link to The Setup OS (which is recommended for convenience), you’ll also need to set a portal password for each client. This step is already baked into your project task board to help you stay on top of it - but don’t forget to update your workflow email templates to share their password when the time comes.

Right now, Cait’s portal link is filled in as a placeholder. Just follow the directions below to swap it out or remove it. The button is in multiple places throughout The Setup OS, so make sure you follow these directions closely to ensure it's properly switched out EVERYWHERE.

1. Navigate to your Setup OS.

2. Go the "Client Hub" section and click the arrow next to "New".

3. Click the 3 dots next to the Playbook template.

4. Click "Edit"

Tip: Tip! If you want to delete the link rather than editing it, skip to step 9.

5. In the window that pops up, on the lefthand side menu, hover over "Contract & Invoice Portal" and click the gear icon.

6. Click "https://hello.caitpotter.com/public/client/portal/5c1bda215f5630731d0f784f" & delete, then paste in your own client portal link.

7. Click "Done"

Tip: Tip! If you want to edit the link rather than deleting it, go back to step 5.

Alert: Alert! It is recommended NOT to delete the link. This shows up on the Onboarding & Content Approval Questionnaires to make it easy for your client to hit submit on their Dubsado forms. Only delete if you are really sure you don't want your clients to have easy access to their portal!

8. Hover to the left of the button and click the 6 dots.

9. Click "Delete"

Either Way

10. Click off of this screen to exit the template.
