0:00 In this video, I'm going to be giving you a very quick overview of how to navigate Notion. So, over on the left side, you're going to see the sidebar, and if you were to watch any other tutorials about Notion, where you were trying to build, you can your own workspace, then they would tell you that you're

0:19 going to use this sidebar a lot. However, with the setup OS, there is so much going on in here that you are probably just going to want to ignore this sidebar navigation completely.

0:31 What you're might want to know about over in the sidebar is that there is also a search bar, so you can search for things here, uhm, and you can collapse it, which is what I recommend for using the setup OS because that gives you a little bit more space here, and this is really built with having this

0:49 collapsed in mind. So I'm gonna click these arrows to close the sidebar. Now, if I want to reopen it, I can just click this hamburger, and if I click it, it will actually make it permanent, uhm, if I just hover, then it will still pop up, and I can still navigate in here if I want.

1:04 The last thing about navigation that you need to know is up here in the top bar, there will be breadcrumbs, and this is going to be really, really helpful for you as you are navigating.

1:13 So if I go into my example client file here, and I make it full page, you will see now that I'm on my client page, but also, uhm, up here I have my breadcrumbs, so I can go back to the client page.

1:27 I can click these three dots and I can see the entire chain. So as you get even deeper into the client file, if I were to say go to the content directory, then now you'll see I have content directory, the client, and then again, I can go back even further.

1:46 So it's showing you all of the, the, the, the nested folders, the breadcrumbs that you have followed to get to this spot.

1:52 And so you can click to go back to the page that you're wanting to go to. So if I want to go back to the client profile, I'll say and simply click their name.

2:02 Those are the big things that you want to know about notion-specific navigation. There will continue to be more information throughout this course on how to use the Setup OS, but this video is really just focused on showing you how that can notion works.
